Bring your original passport and confirm traveler, item and counter eligibility. Present any required visitor coupon or payment card before checkout.
Pay the tax-inclusive price and bring passport, goods, receipts and payment instrument to the designated counter on purchase day. Minimum eligible pre-tax spend is JPY5,000 per store/day.
Purchases from 1 November 2026 use the refund method. Export within 90 days and obtain customs confirmation before checking luggage; the registered method then receives the refund less applicable fees.
